BLOCKED – Advanced+ | The Wrightington RA Interest Group Cadaveric Course

Details: The Wrightington Regional Anaesthesia Interest Groups (WRAIG’s) 8th iteration on Regional Anaesthesia teaching focusses on two full days of hand-on cadaveric and live model scanning workshop. This is our third event in the BLOCKED! series of regional anaesthesia educational events, in collaboration with B. Braun Medical Ltd.

Attendees will expect to take a deep dive and learn the essentials and advanced aspects of regional anaesthesia.

The key features of this course are:

• Learn from experts who work in one of the biggest orthopaedic centres delivering a high volume of regional anaesthesia.
• Support provided expert faculty from around the country.
• A low faculty to candidate of ratio of 1:2 to 1:3.
• Scanning and needling on cadavers.
• Focused learning on live models.
• Option on both days to ‘pick your block’ for a one to one scanning and needling practice on cadavers on a block of your choice.

The Royal College of Anaesthetists has awarded 12 CPD for this course.

5 Hands-on Ultrasound Points
5 Hands-on Cadaveric Points + 2 other points
