Dr Lloyd Turbitt

Dr Turbitt is a Consultant Anaesthetist in Belfast, where he has been instrumental in regional anaesthesia service development. He is the Honorary Treasurer of RA-U.K and has been a board member since 2017. He completed a Regional Anaesthesia Fellowship in Toronto and the MSc in Regional Anaesthesia. Dr Turbitt has been an invited lecturer at several national and international conferences and has published widely in the field of regional anaesthesia. He was the pioneer of the ‘Plan A Blocks’ movement, and has an interest in the implementation of widespread education in basic regional anaesthesia skills and the impact of regional anaesthesia on value of care. @LloydTurbitt
